Saturday, I was invited for a barbecue at Lutz´s backyard. We bought and made a lot to eat, because everybody was hungry, in cause of the party day before. Tam was sitting next to me. She´s a vegetarian. But we had salad and vegetables. And some fish.
On Friday, I spinned some records at a artists guild base, called WP8. I know this little club since 20 years. It starts as a association of students from the academy of art (with a political background). Since this time, members play tabletop soccer in the basement of the club. There are also the toiletts and a basin. No soundsystem. You see a women- , and a men team on the playground. But the women looks like olympic russian shot putter from the 80´s.
First of may. A bank holiday. The night before, everybody go out. Town was full yesterday, and I was searching for some entertainment. But it bored me, and my social skills were bad. Than I met Eddie at the Soundfoyer in the local theater. He was sitting backstage and readed a book about war. Eddie likes books about war. It doesn´t matter witch one, even fictitious. It has to be a big one, and even the book has to. It was a nice conversation, and later, when Eddie started to spin some records, I went home to bed.
Photographed him for a skateboard magazine, yesterday. He asked me for some portraits, he want to use for a internet image. He´s nice and a very polite person. Made this fast 2 pictures, and sended to him.
She´s the curator of the Wilhelm Lehmbruck archive and collection at the museum of Wilhelm Lehmbruck in Duisburg. She knows so much about Lehmbruck, and her talking is absolutly fine and detailed…. and with her interpretations and analysis, she often fight against traditional points of view in the art-history scene. Today, I photographed her with
an etching of Wilhelm Lehmbruck from 1914/15. It shows a pieta on the battlefield. The dust of 2 guns makes the sky dark, and Jesus has 2 cuts.
The other pix, I made at the main train station of Duisburg, while I´m waiting, after the job.
