Swimmingpool

This was my first mission for carhartt. Michel asked me, to take some photos of the electronic duo Swimmingpool, playing live at the Unique Club, Düsseldorf, 2001. They used this image for an advertising campaign in europe. On the next photo, there is Tim (Zeek´n Destroy), working in his office, witch was next to Bobsens office (combination rec.), at Zimmerstr. 8a, Düsseldorf. Both were made in 2001, too.

Saw some postcards, I paint in the early 90´s. It was the time, when Dre published “The chronic” and Keth Haring died. Thanks and love to Katja, who collected this cards.

He´s 7 years old, and this postbox is his privat area. He´s always nice to men, not to signoras, and if he don´t like somebody, he piss on the persons bag or jacket.
Asparagus

Last week, the season of asparagus starts. The farmer reap this fresh vegetable till the day of Johannes, the 9th of june. It´s perfect with a hollondaise dressing, fresh potatos and later, fresh strawberries from this area. Yesterday, Jens invited me for some. Thanks a lot! Good meal it´s like a therapy, not only physical.
Confirmation

On sunday, Nicoletta invited me for her confirmation, in a church near my home. She´s now 14 years old and since 1 year, she went to a religious education to get ready for the full membership in the protestantic church. Here you see the moment, when she got it! In the front row, you can see Melina, best friend of Nicoletta, watching how I work. On the next image you see Nicoletta in a boat club, where the family (on the image it´s Peter, the father) celebrate the confirmation, with a lot of friends and a lot to eat. The boat club was near the river, and the weather was beautiful. There were Denise, a young mother with her daughter and in a portrait. Harald, an analytical chemist, Caroline (the sister of Denise) talking with their father Günther, Otto the justice! and my parents. On the last image there is my father, in front his grandchild, my nephew Sten.
Arty Farty Gallery

On saturday, Coskun opened a streetart gallery iin cologne, calls Arty Farty Gallery. It´s a good place, in the bottom of a backyard on Maastrichter Strasse. “Von 7”, a friend of mine, bought a screenptint of Wayne Horse, and I had a very nice conversation with a greece fashion photographer, called Alexander.
