Last month I visited a special lottery called “Japanese donation day”, at the Malkasten, düsseldorf, an very old artists club. Every lot won, and the money went to the Japan Art Donation, like also the money for eating and drinking. Thanks to Michiko Shida, Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber for this event and possibility. In the photo you see the winner of my photo. Thanks a lot.
11 of them shown their works at the Interconti Hotel, at one of the most expensive streets in europe. Curated by the NRW Forum, a big museum, and under the patronage of Andreas Gursky, you could find their art in front of the elevator on every level of the hotel, why they called this exhibition Level 12. The exhibition was during the “Rundgang” of the academy of art, every class shown their results of the semester at the academy building.
Shopping and looking what´s going on! Later we drove to the gallery Arty Farty in cologne, and saw the photoexhibition of Robin Maddock “our kids are going to hell”, curated by the german photographer Alexander Basile. Thanks Tim.
Together with Pepe, we heard Lazer posses “underground radio” on ghettoblast, and later we had a conflict with some knights in the club, but Pepe checked it!
